The POB Technology POB-Bot Hunter II is also named The Chicken Hunter. It is an autonomous robot equipped with a color camera and a dart gun. It is a very playful robot. The camera allows you to target pattern for example a chicken drawing. Like for all POB robots, the color camera allows you to do pattern recognition. It is also equipped with a mechanical base, a screen, an I/O module and a distance sensor. A CD-Rom with examples and development tools, a USB cable for your PC are also provided. The robot is delivered already mounted and ready to use. Development in C, C++, Java, Basic or RISBEE. Positioned on the side of the robot, the dart gun is used to shoot targets. The foam darts are not dangerous. The distance sensors help you to evaluate the distance of the target and to setup the height of the gun. The distance sensor can be used to do obstacle avoidance. It is also equipped with 2 servo motors to fix the height and to manage the tumbler. Accessories of a POB robot are usable with other POB robots. This robotic kit allows you to build your custom projects, for example you can add sensors and actuator on the robot integrate servo motors to create an arm or add your imagination.
